The filter is double threaded and thinner than a standard filter to minimize any possibility of vignette when used with a WonderPana 186 filter system. It features an even, neutral gray color for creative photography applications. ND1000 filter offers a 10-stop EV value which allows you to slow down the shutter speed or use a larger aperture in bright light conditions. Neutral Density filters have their unique applications and offer the possibility of achieving otherwise impossible results. ND filters reduces the amount of light reaching the film/CCD. Fotodiox ND filters are neutral grey and do not color cast the images.

Aside from being humongous (which turns out to be an unexpected advantage), this CPL outperforms some of my smaller far more expensive filters. I got the multi coated version. I suspected that since it's a specialty item that they might not sell many, therefore assumed it was priced high, but built cheap. With the WonderPana adapter for my Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 art, this filter makes reflections completely vanish when dialed in properly. An added bonus is that it reduces lens flare caused from the extreme curvature of the front element. I use this mainly for real estate shoots. I'm grateful the build quality and performance is superb. I was skeptical, and now I'm a total fan.

Love This filter kit. This filter kit was designed with the Canon 11-24 in mind. Those of you who already a Wonderpana 145 system will see that the 186mm system is similar but bigger. The built quality is amazing. What I love the most about the 186mm screw-on filters is even if you use a 10-stop filter, there won't be any light leak between the filter and holder like with many square filter systems. Another good thing is it doesn't vignette at all at 11mm unless you stack filters. You have to keep in mind that every ND filters on the market do have a color cast but the Wonderpana filters seem to have very little to no color cast at all compare to many other filter brands I had use so far! The only con I can think of is that you are going to need a Bigger camera bag because those filters are HUGE! But I love them and it makes possible the use of filters on my Canon 11-24mm!
