These wooden blocks are very unstable. Even the slightest push against the bed will make the blocks fall over. The indents on the blocks are not deep enough to keep the bed from shifting and the legs from falling off the blocks. I personally think these blocks are dangerous.

I used this to elevate a TV stand in my home office, which otherwise would have been sitting on top of the only air conditioning / heating vent in that room. By using ONE block for each of the 4 caster wheels, I was able to elevate enough to install a vent airflow redirector underneath the TV stand (plus, more room for surge protector, cords etc). Using only ONE for each leg/caster, works perfectly and my set up is very stable and looks quite good (the color matches my TV stand and caster wheels). If I wanted to stack 2 of these risers together I don't think that would work. But using just one, this is the perfect solution and I really like the quality of these risers, plus they look like real wood and not some cheap plastic crap. Good product, highly recommend.

The product does the job but unfortunately was not the colour as advertised. They are more of a reddish oak colour and are not varnished well. Had to keep as urgently required.

Pros:. Good price, flexibility in height, wood and felt. Perfect for raising the bed to increase storage.Cons: because I had 12 legs on my bed frame, it would move off some when lifted to rest on others. Took some time doing it by myself.

I wanted wooden bed risers since they would be visible in the set up I was using these for, matched to pine Ikea furniture. The price was high, but I didn't want to look at black molded plastic. I tried stacking my bed on top of three of these, also two of these locked together. They did not lock together as nicely as I'd hoped, but really the lack of stability was the deal breaker. I could not get the bed to stay on top of the risers, they kept falling over (the shallow inset circle was not deep enough to aid stability, and the narrow base just became more unstable when adding blocks on top of other blocks. Would probably have been ok using only a single block. I ended up building my own workaround and returning these. Thanks for the easy return.

I purchased a new metal bedframe a couple of years ago. I LOVE the headboard and footboard so much. I searched months for this frame and when I found it, I was so excited. Unfortunately, the head and foot board were perfect, the frame was kind of flimsy. The "feet" had to be screwed into the slats and I knew from experience, they were not going to last. It's just a poor design. So a year later, I'm dealing with some squeaks and shifting, I removed the mattress to check the frame and sure enough, the little feet had bent away from the frame. I was so bummed. My husband wanted to trash the whole bed but I refused--it took me weeks to find the style I wanted and I wasn't going to throw the whole bed out because of the poor design of the frame. So I searched for a solution and found these risers. They were cheap enough I could give them a try and return them if they didn't work out. Well, guess what--they worked awesome! I put some of those felt sticky pads on the bottom to protect the wood floors. You can use the round side of the riser to use on the feet of the frame or you can flip it over and there is an area for the slats/frame to be supported. I used that side and just placed the blocks where the little metal feet had been. Now I get to keep my headboard! I'm so happy. I'm thinking of getting a few more to put on my daughters bed because hers has those same metal feet and I know they will just bend too. These are so sturdy. It makes a huge difference in the way the mattress sits and the sturdiness of the bed. Solid purchase!
