Just the tool I needed to trim my wood edge banding! Wait for the glue to dry on the banding, separate the halves to surround both edges and slide along the edge both directions until all the high spots are removed. Follow up with sand paper or a small file to touch up any sharp edges. Easy! I haven't tried with a dense and thick material like formica yet, maybe in the future. Recommend! Definitely works with the material it was designed for!

Just what I wanted and expected. A basic too to trim veneer and edges. Sharp. Well made it seems. So far so good. Compact. Seems fairly durable. And of course at a good price.
