I got this tool after immense frustration and multiple rounds of numb hands fighting to cut 12/2 and 14/2 electrical wire as part of a rewiring project. My tools were just too old and dull for it to be anything but a miserable process. I should have gotten this tool years ago! I can now cut wires with little effort and the cuts are even clean. Was excited to get something better than my old electricians cutters. First thing I noticed was the shape of the handels, something is off but ok. Next was the lack of any opening spring. Ok . The last straw was when I tried to cut 12/2 Romex... what a joke, harder to cut than my old electricians cutters. DO NOT BUY

I've been using these cable cutters for a few weeks now, and I'm really liking them. Everything about it feels like quality. The plastic on the handles have a good feel to them in my hand, and the blades are sharp. The extra long blades makes this great for cutting all types of stuff, that might be a little harder in regular cutters. I cut a lot of regular size cables with this, but where I really like it, is cutting ribbon cable. With wider cables, it's common for me to need to make 2 cuts, from opposite sides, but with this, I can usually cut it in one shot. I only need to cut the widest cables twice. Also, the shape of the blades makes it easier to see what I'm working on, compared to traditional wire cutters, with their short jaws.

This cutter is great! It cuts wires like butter. Completely effortless. The handle is very comfortable with a special curve. It is also very nicely made with good aesthetics. It is an candy to my eyes.

Cut great until u cut steal cable and if they could put in a return spring that would definitely make them the best around
