I was so disappointed in this product. I got it to cut down my decorative grass, got tired of dragging an electric cord around the yard. I don't know if it would even cut through a stick of melted butter.

This trimmer really gets the job done. I love that I no longer have to mess with extension cords. Without fail I always end up cutting up at minimum 2 every season. This does eliminate that problem. The only reason I am not giving this trimmer a full 5-star rating is the battery life isn't great. Don't get me wrong, it does last a good while, but I have to recharge the battery once before I can complete all my shrubs. I have 11 shrubs in total, so yes, I may be a little too critical. I think a good 10 extra mins on charge would have swayed me to give it a full 5 stars. Would I get another one if this one bites the dust? In a heartbeat. The cost alone is well worth the purchase.

This cordless trimmer is lightweight but seems well designed and durable. It is easy to handle and has along blade for trimming deeper hedges. The teeth are sharp and there's a nice reusable heavy duty blade guard you can put back on when not using it. The battery is easy to attach and disconnect, as well as easy to charge. Note it includes a USB charging cord but no charger block to plug in... (another rant for another day). Based on my initial use, it seems to cut cleanly and easily through the plants I was trimming up and the battery gave me a good 20 minutes of use. I used it right out of box and now have it charging to full. There's a safety lock on the handle and a shield guard. I'm not sure if it will handle thicker stuff like my white spruce yet, but it did great on my flowering bushes. Great value for a cordless trimmer with decent power while being lightweight enough to hold over your shrubs. Highly recommended.

I’ve really put this WORKPROX Cordless Hedge Trimmer through its paces, logging about 10 hours of use so far, and there’s a lot to like—plus a couple of things I’m still keeping an eye on. Straight out of the box, I gave the battery a full charge, and that first use was incredible—long-lasting, steady power, felt like I could go all day. But on the next few charges, I noticed less runtime, which has me wondering if it's a quirk of the battery’s design or maybe a calibration issue. One positive note on that front, though—the digital battery level indicator is super handy, and stays off until you tap the little square button next to it, which is a smart touch. Now, let’s talk about the star of the show—the blades. These things are legit monsters in the best way. On my first go, I had a neighbor walking by literally stop and say how impressive they were—slicing through branches and overgrowth like it was shaving hot butter. The 22" dual-action blade with a ¾" cutting capacity is no gimmick—it rips through hedge work like a pro-grade tool. It’s got a little weight to it, sure—but I don’t mind that. I’ll take the heavier feel if it means stronger build quality, and that’s exactly what this feels like: solid, durable, and meant to last. They’re not cheap, but if that battery performance levels out, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. As of now, it's well worth the money just for the cutting power alone.

I got this to replace a corded version that I kept on severing the power cord no matter how careful I tried to be. I was worried this was going to be weak and jamb up all the time, boy was I wrong! This thing is slicing through the bushes easier than my plug in! I’m guessing cause of how sharp the blades are but anyways, it works great and the battery lasts long enough to get through my whole front yard, about 20 minutes of constant cutting. Really happy with this!
