I got these to help cut back some wild blackberries, For the young ones it worked well enough but the old growth not so much. The battery lasted longer then i did trying to get them to cut before i got the chain saw out. I guess if you only have some pruning on things that have been maintained up to date then they would work fine but to get caught up of over growth not so much.

I used this tool to trim the grass around my parents' grave, and it was perfect for the job. The battery lasts long enough to finish and takes only about an hour to recharge. The 2-in-1 design is super handy, allowing an easy switch between grass and hedge trimming. The angle adjustment (+45° to -60°) makes it very versatile and comfortable to use, even in difficult areas. Additionally, the safety feature with a special key to start is a great plus. Easy to use for beginners.

Wasn’t sure how well it would work or how long the battery would last.This little trimmer is great. Battery last To the the job and only about an hour to recharge. Safety feature special key to start.

Got this on sale so it’s worth the $23. It feels a little underpowered but it got the job done. Having the two attachments are good.

I have all kinds of garden tools but was missing a hedge trimmer/grass shear, so I got this. It charged in under three hours. The battery is integrated into the tool so additional batteries can't be used. There's an unusual feature in that the handle can be adjusted up or down in angles relative to the cutting part of the tool. That's convenient for trimming anything that's up high or down low. It's lightweight. There are the usual safety features that I look for. To start the tool, there's a start key (small plug) that has to be inserted in the end of the handle. Then, the lock button on top and the switch button on the bottom have to be pressed at the same time. The first time I got a gardening tool with these features I didn't like it because it's hard on my small hand to press two buttons at once. However, it's a lot safer and there won't be any absent-minded accidents when using a tool like this. I used the shear blades to trim grass around some of my garden beds. My perennials tend to droop over the garden edging and a weed whacker often takes off some of the flower stems so the grass shears work better. Then I took the grass blades off and attached the hedge trimmer. I cleaned up the tips on a hedge of small shrubs and evened them out. I haven't run out of battery charge yet after a good part of the day in the garden. I'm not going to use this as a heavy-duty tool but it's very quick and helpful for small jobs.

This is a good quality cordless shear/trimmer tool. The grass shear blade and the trimmer blade are easy to slip on and off the tool, and they are sharp. Each come with protective plastic guards. I tried out both the grass and the long trimmer on ivy and some small shrubs and both worked well. This comes with a charging cord (USB-C) but no charging block so you have to supply your own. I prefer this to the last cordless trimmer I owned because this has the battery built into the handle, so it is much lighter. Also you can adjust the angle of the blades very easily by pushing down on a button on the side of the tool. The light near the USB charging port changes from red to green when the battery is fully charged, but unfortunately there are no battery status indicators so you don't know when you need to recharge until it dies while you are using it. This does not come with a case, but at this price it was too good a deal to pass up.
