It fit great in the old canned light. Although the globe opening was 1.65" it fit fine.

The conversation was easy to install-like screwing in a light bulb. Cap next to ceiling is simply screwed up and you are finished. Great way to transform can lights into pendant lights. Highly recommend.

It’s a lovely piece but it doesn’t fit flush to the ceiling and there is too much cord to adjust it. I was looking for a video on you tube with instructions but no good. I didn’t review earlier because we are fixing a new house

These are amazing and simple to make a can light a pendant! I order a white rattan shade on Amazon and 15 mins later they are up and ready! Will buy again!

Pendants are so much prettier than boring recessed lights. I didn’t want to go to the trouble and expense to rewire the lights above my kitchen island. These kits are super handy and I bought the shades at Lowe’s. (They have a pretty good selection.) My only complaint is that the cover isn’t tight against the ceiling. There must be a trick to that, but I can’t figure it out. Would still recommend.
