I love this cutter. Works very well and the Worx battery is compatible with other Worx tools.

I purchased the Worx WX801L.9 20V Mini-Cutter, and I already own several other Worx tools. The biggest advantage of Worx products is the shared battery system, which makes them incredibly convenient to use. While this isn’t a high-end professional grinder, its compact size and portability make it perfect for various DIY projects. It’s easy to handle and works well for light to medium tasks. If you're looking for a mini grinder that is versatile and easy to carry around, this is a great option.

It works and gets the job done, better for outside projects, objects get hot and causes smoke on simple projects, but cuts nice if it take it very slow

Nice, handy cutter. I have various Worx tools, so it's convenient to share batteries. The only issue is that my disc blade wore out quickly, even with minimal use. I wish the manufacturer included an extra disc with the new purchase.

Worked out great for a small ceramic tile cutting job we needed to do. We also had other Worx tools, so we already had a battery to use with the saw. Bonus, it did come with a diamond blade, as write-up did not indicate this. We were very happy with our purchase.

Without a battery, what should I do with it until I did not find a battery on the website. I bought it. I lost my money without interest

It's like a really large Dremel, or a really small angle grinder. There may be a use for that , I thought there was - but maybe not. It's so big it makes the metal burn everything around it. So cutting off a nail left a huge burnt crater around the cut. A Dremel would cut the nail only. An angle grinder would pop it off in a second. Both without damaging the surface. And both safely. This thing whines away for about 15 seconds, and everything becomes hyper hot. I know this because as I was cutting a nail there was an anchor underneath. (Nail and an anchor? Whatever.) The metal dust mixed with the plastic and then this thing hurled it up (Note the dangerous lack of a decent size protection shield - what they call a blade guard is more of an obscuring shroud) and dropped the literally burning plastic/metal mix on my finger. 2nd degree burns.Plus, I can't find any replacement wheels (Which I looked for BEFORE this debacle). Finally, the motor slows down when you put too much pressure on it, which makes you go slower, which makes it heat up, etc. I have NO doubt that this thing will chew through thin metal. But it's underpowered, slow, and dangerous. This seems like the rest of the worx lineup - lots of plastic, underpowered, and often insufficient. (With that said I have a few of their tools which are very good. Things where plastic is fine, I can deal with the lack of power, and it's sufficient for my needs.) So don't judge the line by the tool, but buyer be careful.Give this one a hard pass.
