The lock doesn't work and it fell apart the first day. Its plastic. I basically paid this vendor so that I could throw away their garbage.

When I placed it, snuggly, into my laptop's locking port, I turned the round key and I got 3 little brass barrels fall out of the lock into my palm. The lock was 'locked' in the open position and it will not move at all. So I wasted my money and I have a cable, 2 keys, and a broken lock. Don't waste your money on this product.

This cheap as crap lock... doesnt lock for NOTHIN! BACKWARDS locking mechanism. Cant remove key when locked.

It worked well the first time I used it, second time it fell apart. The pins in the lock fell out making it useless. I’d order another brand if you are reading reviews on this item.
