The patent-pending U-beam design is significantly stronger and more durable than the typical I beam found elsewhere. Powered by a Briggs and stratton Cr950 engine, and ergonomically designed for optimal performance, safety and ease of use, this horizontal and vertical log splitter cuts through wood effortlessly and efficiently, log after log. The size and weight make it a great option for frequent towing. Other features included as standard are protective log cradles on both sides, solid stamped steel fenders.

I have about 10 hours on in it so far. Great machine. The only flaw i think is the loading racks just dont make sense. They dont hold the wood well while the machine is running. Make it better this would be the absolute best machine out there. Otherwise it has 5 stars

So I've had YS3567 for just over a year and I'm both pleased and frustrated with the unit. I can do in an afternoon what used to take me a couple of weeks of hand splitting, but I question if the people who designed this actually use splitters in the wild. Since it lacks any option for a lift, you would expect the tables on each side to be something beyond the bare minimum. The feed side is small and the far side table (option) is just this side of pathetic being smooth and lacking any functional raised edge. The vibration while operating is, in my opinion, fierce and the chains, hitch and other joints rattle LOUDLY almost above the roar of the B&S engine. The kickstand is a joke and a real pain to transition back and forth from towing on a hitch back to back into locked down position. Managing it without a second set of hands is simply unworkable and I manage it only with a trailer hand-dolly. It is a high-centered unit - be very careful if you're trying to move it around while it is on ANY level of slope. Mine went over on me while I was trying to move it a foot over in a trailer that was on a very small angle. 35 tons rips through everything - love it but make sure the unit is LEVEL - oil splash out of the hydraulic breather camp due to the crazy vibration makes a mess. Vertical operation really requires two people and you have to build a footer surround and lever-combo to be able to get large rounds into position and hold them there while operating the value. This is my first log splitter as I've hand split 5-6 cords a year for over 20 years to heat my house - so it is fantastic productivity gain but I REALLY wonder about the designers/engineers as hose routing seems amateurishly dressed and various pins, locks and hinges are lacking in refinement. I give it a 4 because of the power but a 3 at best on other operational aspects and functionality.
