I've always struggled when knitting with more than two colors at once.Using the yarn guide has been so helpful. My tension is even. I'm able to knit at a faster pace because I no longer have to untangle the yarn when it twists together.Overall this has been a very useful tool for me.I'm very happy with this purchase.

It took me a while to figure out how best to utilize the guides, and how to manage my Yarn tension, but once I let go of the idea of what it supposed to look like (in my mind) and concentrated on what I needed, they worked great! I am getting better with this, every time I use them.

I originally bought this because I am going to knit my husband a scarf using the double knit/reversible method. This seemed like a much easier way to hold the two colors of yarn keeping them from getting tangled, and wasn’t expensive so I figured why not.I also recently taught myself to crochet and have been having a hard time with that yarn hold. I’m able to do it fine, it just causes a lot of pain and swelling in my index finger after a little while. I have to stop a lot to move and stretch my fingers, and I end up having to stop completely because the pain becomes too much and the pip joint is so swollen I can’t bend it anymore. I was trying to think of different ways to hold the yarn to alleviate that discomfort and I thought maybe this ring would work? It helped so much! I use the smaller size ring, push it over my pip joint fitting snug, and no longer have the pain or aching in my finger. I don’t have to consciously extend my index finger out rigidly. The ring automatically straightens my finger, and putting the yarn through both loops on the ring, then putting yarn between pinky and ring finger creates enough tension. I have a connective tissue disorder and sometimes have to do things differently or with aides. I didn’t expect this ring to be so useful, but it’s been a huge help and allowed me to continue to crochet for long periods without having any issues

I haven't quite got the hang of this product. Be aware that they might split the fiber.

Didn't care for these. Didn't fit my fingers quite right, and the yarns are so far apart it's really a pain to reach the right color. Also really hard to slip stitches with yarn in front when double knitting since one of the yarns is so far away from the fingertip. Didn't work for me.

I got them to help keep my hands from cramping while crocheting. I have small fingers so I needed something adjustable. Sadly this was not and they were both to big. The only finger it could potential fit was my thumb.
