Sure, you can get cheaper lens hood for the X100v /vi that look pretty similar...but this one is very well executed. I've got the silver one.The finish is an indistinguishable match. Not just the colour but the texture is on point too. To top it off, the knurling on the filter adapter part matches the focus ring.I got a filter adapter for both the x100v and x100vi included in the box. I believe there is a slight variation in the lens mounts between the two models and whilst some hoods fit both, this one specifically and perfectly fits both. No gaps. Also, it's all a tool-less design. No silly screws.The inside of the hood is painted matt black so you don't get light reflecting and bouncing around. The lens cap has a lovely micro felt material on the inside. The cap is just a push fit into the hood and silicone pads provide an interference fit which keeps it snugly in place. It comes with a hood, unlike a similar product.It fits one filter, I've only got a Tiften Glimmerglass and Black Mist in the correct size but it happily takes one of these at a time. The filter is hidden inside the hood when it's attached....which keeps the colour of the lens/adapter ring/hood all silver on the exterior. Very tidy. When you have everything tightened just right the hood should be loose enough to easily unscrew and pop filters on or off.Minimal protrusion into the viewfinder. Any extension onto the lens will protrude into the viewfinder, so expect a little added on here. It fits under the little pop-up digital focus check screen so Id say it's protrusion is 'minimal'.Overall, the quality, look, finish is all excellent. I don't mind paying a premium price if you're getting a premium product.

S’adapte très bien au x100vi - pas de mauvaise surprise d’angle ou espacement. Inclut adaptateur spécifique pour le x100vi et le x100v (2 adapteur dans la boîte) matériel de qualité. Prix élevé mais de qualité. Aucun problème d’autofocus.

I have used about 5+ different lens hoods for my x100vi. I have to say this is one of the best so far.Here are a few of the reasons.1. Different mounting rings for the x100v and x100vi, with no gap at all.2. Once the lens hood is mounted, you can still adjust the alignment of the lens hood, without tighten the mount.3. 49mm filters fits nicely, even the everyday filter have no issues.Many of the lens hoods I have used in the past never met all those criteria. This is the 1st lens filter met all 3. I am very impressed. The price tag is totally worth it! This is my favorite lens hood for my x100vi so far.

This is the best looking lens shade for X100 camera I ever tried, I checked the vignette on the screen and didn’t see anything. The metal craftsman is top notch, match well with Fuji build quality.

I’ve previously tried the Haoge lens hood, which was fine quality-wise but I rarely used as it was nearly impossible to align. This hood is not only an improvement quality-wise (especially with the hood cover) but also aligns easily and securely. Easily worth the increased price compared to other alternatives

Excellent travail pour ce superbe pare-soleil. Classe, finesse et précision sont au rendez-vous. L'accessoire et l'appareil photo ne font plus qu'un, on a un ensemble fonctionnellement homogène et esthétiquement harmonieux.Prix élevé, mais on ne sera pas déçu.

È un prodotto senza dubbio originale, anche se non so se questa originalità paghi realmente.Innanzitutto la forma squadrata molto accentuata, con il paraluce a incastro, con quattro “gommini” che fanno da supporto, ma che non rendono completamente impermeabile la chiusura perché non corrono lungo tutto il perimetro del paraluce! Molto strano.Apprezzo che ci siano due adattatori, uno per x100v e uno per x100vi perché effettivamente hanno una leggera differenza che va poi a rendere la linea più piacevole.Tuttavia ho la sensazione, rispetto ad altri costruttori di paraluce, che le tolleranze meccaniche non siano così precise.Innanzitutto perché separare il vero e proprio paraluce dal proprio adattatore è una missione quasi impossibile.In secondo luogo, perché la vite, avvitando il paraluce alla macchina, sembra “graffiare” e mi spaventa non poco.Forse propenderei per altri modelli.
