Zando Girls' Knee Length Skorts - $14.99So nice and light. Perfect for summer. I love that it is skorts instead of just a skirt. She is a real tree climber, but she's also at that age where she's outgrowing not dressing up sometimes. She wants to wear pretty things, but she still wants to climb trees. This is the best of both worlds.

My daughter loves this skort. The material is very stretchy, so this skirt can go from serious to play in no time. The shorts are very long, which she likes (because the skorts with short shorts are basically like showing her underwear, so what is the point?). The skirt and shorts are only joined at the waist, not like some where they also attach lower down. This fell exactly at her knees (she is average height), so adjust accordingly for your taste.
