I needed some heavy-duty eyebolts to support a long wire amateur radio antenna. Its 133 feet of heavy wire so there is a lot of strain on the supports so I needed solid eyebolts and these are working well. I noticed that the threads are not cut into the shaft but are raised giving much more support against a straight pull, like I have with this installation. I am very pleased with the quality and design of the eyebolts.I am not as impressed with the carabiners. They are steel and coated like the eyebolts so I’m sure that they will hold up over time. The latches have a hook feature giving more strength to the overall load capacity. The issue that I have is the quality of the latch. It is not a precision fit and it does not always latch without help. I’m not a climber but if I were, I would never use these for climbing. The latches just feel cheap and they don’t mate well to the catch where they close. For my application, I tied a rope onto it, connected it to the eyebolt and I won’t see them again for probably years so for this type of application, they work file.
