These hooks worked great for hanging string lights around my deck. Very sturdy. Will buy more for Christmas lights next year.

The hooks were advertised as stainless steel hooks yet they are magnetic. This will eventually rust out if installed outside the home.

I had tried the 3M plastic hooks with sticky backs to hold up outdoor lighting but the weather simply caused them to drop off. No one wants to have to keep climbing a ladder to get those put back up time after time. I needed something that was attractive yet sturdy. These work great so far. I liked how they are not plain, add curves like a heart at the top to make them attractive.
