Only thing that grinded my gear was the lightbulbs both went out in less than a day not sure why but had my reptile go through a week of an ordeal with insufficient lighting. Wish that the bulbs were more prone to malfunction. Other than that my order was kind of ok.

The tank is constructed very well! Putting it all together was simple. The Gecko is loving his new room! The cost to value ratio is great for what you’re getting!… except the bulbs. We’ve had this two days. Not even two full days and the day time bulb burned out. I understand bulbs don’t last long but this arrived on Tuesday evening and the day time bulb burned out when I went to turn it on Thursday morning. If you DO decide to purchase this nice bit of kit, which is very worth the cost, buy some replacement bulbs. You’re going to need them pretty quick!

I'm very satisfied with this purchase. The tank is perfect sized for our little baby turtle Potato. Now as she gets bigger we will need to upgrade but this is an excellent starter tank foe any small reptile. The two lamps work perfect and the ford's are very long. The only thing that doesn't really work is the thermostat/humidity ready. Which is fine I didn't really expect it too considering the quality of it. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone starting out. This is not for fish as you can see in the picture the glue along the seams.

Ok. So if you're a first time reptile parent make sure you read the description carefully. Some reptiles will need the tropical kit and some the dessert kit. This doesn't come with accesories or decorations. You have to buy your feeding bowls, hideouts, dome and decor separately. It just has the neccesary things to start up your habitat. I have a baby lepard gecko and got the dessert kit which came with the tank and lid, two lamps, thermometer and floor mat. I ordered everything else he needs for his little habitat and waiting on delivery. Temporarily using a jar lid for his water bowl, an empty toilet paper roll for his hideout. The starter kit was great. It has everything needed to start with and it arrived fast and in great quality. Overall a great purchase.

Perfect starter tank for hatchling ball python's. Its small enough that the snake isn't stressed. And after the snake is moved to the larger enclosure, you have an extra tank which is the perfect excuse for a new pet.

The set is a nice starter. The problem that I’ve ran I to is that the two lights that came with the kit keep burning out all of the light bulbs. I’ve gone through at least 5 and they’re not cheap. There must be something faulty with the lamps. Now I will have to invest in new ones.

Exactly how it shows. People complain about broken glass, but that didn’t happen to me. As a matter of fact, they used extra foam in the quick shipping. The only thing I would warn u is the bulbs are kinda cheap.
