This light is barely bright enough to be used as night light. A waste of money

Only been using for about a week, will update if I need to later on. This gives the right amount of light, theres little heat that comes from the light, and the cord length and size was perfect for my setup. I love the timer function on it and it's easy to set up. I also think the price for this was good as well. Hopefully this light will last awhile.

I just received mine and the bulb does NOT unscrew as the photo shows. So when it stops working I will have to buy a whole new lamp. The bulb is wired directly to the lamp. The photos of the bulb is very miss leading.

The lamp worked perfectly. However, or bearded dragons actually ran from the light. After reading up, we found that the color was discomforting to them. Nothing wrong with the light, the beardies just didn't like it.

Got this for my water dragon, and got independent UV cards to check the output. Happy to say it does indeed output the right UV lights! LEDs that output the right spectrum for reptiles are such a good idea but so hard to find.Less than happy with the cord/button/timer though. The clamp and arm made it easy to mount inside the enclosure near the top, but the timer and buttons on the cord are rather close to the unit itself, so it's inside and not dealing with the heat and humidity well. Add on that there's no bypass to the timer so I can't use an external switch, meaning I have to reach in and turn it on and off each time, and these buttons are going to give out pretty soon. It's still done its job and lasted longer than a traditional UV light, so it's an overall positive review, but if the timer was ditched for a longer cord with a traditional position based on off switch it'd be a heck of a lot better.

Ive purchased three other reptile lights that are styled like this but none of them have lasted this long. All the other ones I purchased didn't have the hole in the plug an quit working writing days of the Amazon return window. This one has holes in the plug and the light is going to be blue it's okay it's still uva uvb it's just like the description says better for the reptiles eyes and ours

This inexpensive device appears to do what it claims. It certainly provides adequate light for a small turtle tank. But after two weeks of intermittent use, six hours a day on average, the LEDs dimmed and extinguished, leaving only the center LED functioning at a fraction of its previous level.Amazon replaced the first unit free, and the new lamp appears to be working normally after a week of use. If it is still working well a month from now, I will add a star. If this unit fails like the last one, I will revise this review accordingly.
