These are great for quick metallic details on my royal icing cookies. The color dried quickly and shimmers nicely. The dual end makes it easy to color thinner or thicker sections. There’s no funky taste, or taste at all so it doesn’t hinder the taste of your cookies.

This is my first set of metallic edible markers. Each marker is dual sized with a large a small tip. The markers deposit coloring very well and fit comfortably in my hand, making them very easy to use. The “ink” dries rather quickly, and once dry, does not smudge. The only con I have about this purchase is the gold. It looks more on the brassy side than a true gold. Overall. I believe these are great quality markers for the price.

I've tested both ends of all the markers and they flow nicely. It's easy to draw a design or fill in. Most of the tips produce a vibrant color but a couple were slightly watered down looking.I mostly got these thinking it would be fun to use on hard boiled eggs as pictured in the item listing. But when I tried that the ink smeared everywhere, even after I let it sit for several minutes. The ink does not have much of an odor that I could detect.
