Made from structural (ridgid) foam so its very study. My only minor issue was the shipping. It was shipped in the raw. That is to say no box, no packaging. Structural foam is very strong but also kinda brittle especially in cold weather. All it would have taken was a short drop onto a concrete floor and it would have cracked. But in my case it arrived in perfect condition.

We received this however it was too large for our space. It was however a well made product and if we had a larger space we would've used it.

I purchased this as the basin for a Wayne WSS30VN pump system (1/2 HP pump with battery backup pump). With a ten foot lift (10') this unit is rated at ~55 gallons/minute (~25 gal/min for the battery backup) of capacity. The dual unit fits perfectly in the bottom of the basin, with sufficient space for the pump floats. This is a solid and durable basin (designed for french drain system). Since it is not connected to a french drain system, and this is a solid basin, I drilled ten 1/2 inch holes in the bottom of the basin. Since the basement floor sits on 1/4" -3/8" gravel, I used angle grinder with a 1/8" metal cutting wheel to cut diagonal slits around the basin. (This will allow water to flow into the basin, but hold the gravel back. Note: using a cutting wheel is a very smelly and messy job--something you want to outside )I cut a 26 inch diameter hole in the concrete basement floor for the basin. Then dug the hole (removing a large amount of the pea gravel, about 30 inches deep. I then placed 2"-3" sized round river rock in the bottom of the hole for the basin to sit on, so water could seep in from the bottom. until the top was level with the basement floor. There is a minimum of 2.5" of space around the basin, which I packed in with the clean gravel I removed when digging the hole. I packed the gravel to about 5" from the top of the basin--then grouted with vinyl patch cement. Made my own cover from materials I had around (drilling and screwing (3/4" x 1-1/2") PVC trim to the basement floor, porting and attaching a 1/2" rubber mat to the PVC trim.Notes:The basin has a rim around the top, so the top is actually 22" in diameter. The inside of the basin is 20" in diameter. This is a very well constructed basin--much stronger an sturdier than those cheap ones (that are like plastic trash cans) you find at the big box store. Very much worth the price. as it holds its shape when packing pea gravel around it.This is the second unit of this type that I have installed. The newer WSS30VN unit appears to have a larger back-up pump than the previous (WSS30V) version. Each of the units are connected to a VMAX MR12712v (deep cycle marine) battery. It's not unusual to lose power here for 4-6 hours and this configuration has performed well. The battery is expensive but it well exceeds the pumping duration we require for peace of mind. The 1/8" slits I cut into the basin are more than sufficient to handle the 12 gallons/minute I can get from an outside spigot using a garden hose.

I like how well built it is. I'm going to put it in the driveway below graid so it will collect rain water and easier to pump it out so the driveway doesn't get flooded out

Great item and great customer service. Perfect depth and much higher quality than what I saw at home Depot. I ordered two barrels that slid into / locked together and could not get apart with oil or heat. Out of frustration and immediate need for one barrel, I cut one of the barrels to release them. I let the seller know and they very kindly sent a new one at no charge.

It is what it is except the part number on the zoellar website tells you it comes with a cover this place is just sellening you the bucket without a cover which you have to buy separate. It would be nice if they actually came out and just said that it doesn't come with the lid

slightly different from the picture as was not cone shaped but more 90 degree on the bottom which worked better to hold the pump in place.

What can I say? It's a Big plastic bucket you stick in the ground. It is well constructed and seems sturdy. There was no deflection when I back filled with gravel and concrete. So far the new sump is working well with this basin. I drilled holes at the base and loaded it with gravel. Seems fine. I'm not sure why people pay hundreds for sump basins. This one seems great.
