I love electronics. I have all sorts of gadgets for all sorts of things, but the most live in my Jeep. I own an older Jeep Wrangler, and not only is it my favorite toy but it's a platform for many other toys. Part of this is a big car audio system. I have multiple amps, a DSP, subwoofer, just all sorts of toys. Jeeps don't have a lot of storage space, so my amps are under my back seat. It's a great location, but because it's so contained my amps get hot easily. I have fans on them and they work well but I'm always looking for ways to improve my cooling. I had the idea to use heat sinks, so when I saw these I decided to try them.They arrived in a plain electronics ziploc bag and contained just the heat sinks.These are nice heat sinks! They're heavy, solid metal. The fins are thin and tall, which really increases the surface area. The fit and finish is beautiful, no burrs or visual aberrations.Overall I'm thrilled with these heat sinks. I'll be attaching them to my amplifies with thermal tape to help with their heat dissipation.

I'm using these for NVMe SSD's, particularly ones that are 110mm long. These will do fine without sanding down smoother. They feel quite hefty, but they're good quality.
