I bought this ballast to replace the original one that failed on my HVAC UV light. The ballast works (that is, the UV light functions properly). But the green indicator light on the ballast, which is there to indicate that the UV light is getting power, doesn't light up. I don't really need the green light feature because I can see the blue glow at the base of the UV bulb when it's lit. But the fact that the green indicator light doesn't work, and never has, isn't encouraging as I assess the quality of this ballast. Hopefully the ballast will continue to work for a long time.
