The GENESIS Hova-Bator is made in the USA and TUV listed. This certification, and its 12 Volt system make it a great addition to classroom and laboratory settings. The 1588 GENESIS Hova-Bator with 1614 Automatic Turner can hold up to 19 larger sized eggs. During incubation eggs must be turned several times a day, the addition of the 1614 automatic turner will handle the most time consuming and demanding part of incubation. The thermostat set temperature can be easily tuned, but this is rarely necessary. The pre-set digital thermostat regulates itself, and built-in sensors prevent the "burn up" of eggs. Like all incubators the GENESIS requires a stable room temperature and should not be used in out-buildings such as sheds or barns. The thermostat can be set to any temperature required for bird eggs, and as low as 80 Fahrenheit for reptiles eggs, if the room temperature is low enough to allow it. 1588 GENESIS Hova-Bator includes picture window, plastic bottom liner, and United States plug and cord set. 12 Volt DC power supply operates on 100 to 240 Volt AC. Input: AC 100-240V 50/60 Hz 1.5A Output 3000mA 12 Volt. Returned items may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

I bought mine nearly 40 years ago when my kids were little--it still works! I use a separate thermometer/hydrometer and the temp and humidity are spot on. I've hatched chicks, quail, and ducks over the years, and have quail eggs in it now.I just can't get over how accurate and reliable this little incubator has been for so many years of use. Reviewers have dissed the styrofoam body, but it's very sturdy, and it keeps the numbers uniform--no variations in temperature or humidity in spite of the room temperature changing. What more could I ask for, other than being able to buy a new one for the original 80's price!

I've used this brand of incubators for a lot of years for chickens, ducks, geese, quail, and chucker eggs. The digital system is a huge upgrade from the wafer thermostat. My only gripe is you still have to open the box up every day to add water. Why not have a little port that you can add water through?
