the discrimination wasn't very good had to sent it back needed a 1/4 inch shaft for my drill went to harbor freight got the right one

I use the sandstone we have on our Arkansas property for building projects like foundations and retaining walls. I like to square up/flatten the stones so I have rough blocks to work with. This bushing tool does an excellent job of helping flatten sides and knock down high areas. It looks like I will get quite a bit of use out of this tool. Even after a few days of use, it is still quite sharp. And bushing tools don't need very sharp points to work well. They actually leave a nicer finish once they get a bit rounded. Good quality tool.

While it is perhaps a little smaller than I expected, this roughening bit gets the job done nicely. Since it uses an SDS-Max shank, I thought it would be bigger. My SDS-Max rotohammer is pretty big, so it is a little funny to have this smaller bit on it. It probably would have been better if it had an SDS-Plus shank to fit my standard-sized rotohammer. That would give me better handling and control. As far as the bit itself, it is definitely solid and strong. There are no signs of bending or weakness when going up against concrete. The cutting pattern is effective and holds its edges. Overall, I am very satisfied with this roughening bit.

9-1/2 in. x 1-3/4 in. 16 Tips SDS-Max Bushing Tool Bit - Square Head Round Shank Alloy Steel Drill Bit Concrete Roughness Coating Remove Bushing Bit for Rotary Hammer, Brick Wall, StoneThought I was too old and out of shape to be doing concrete work. So, I hired a contractor to pour a slab for me that I would normally have done myself. The slab needed to be slick finished. Contractor majorly messed up the job with a wavy surface that is full of trowel marks. I’ve got to grind down some high spots and rough up the surface so that I can skim coat it. Now I’ll soon be back in shape but still to old. Should have done the job myself in the first place. It would have been less work. The bit looks good and solid. Fits my machine just fine.

Looks like a decent product, but the description says it's sds plus, but I received an sds max bit.

This surface rougher is well built and fits without issue in an sds max hammer drill. The waffle design functions well for crushing cement areas to allow for better adherence of patching.Good value for this type of attachment.

This bushing bit is quite inexpensive compared to name brand bits. It works well at shaping or resurfacing rocks or concrete. It’s durable, and it shows only minimal signs of wear after an initial extended use. This bit should last a long time.
