We have been thinking about getting a robot vacuum for a long time and pulled the trigger on this one. What a fabulous product this turned out to be.+Charging is fast and retention of charge is awesome. We have quite a large area to clean (1500 sq feet approx) and all the crumbs of food that kids drop, but it could cover the entire area and still had charge left.+The sensors and routing logic works seamlessly. Only setting I'd say avoid is the random cleaning setting. That is not the most effective. The edge cleaning is the best.+It is programmed smartly to avoid and work around obstacles. One of the coolest move it made was to go under the legs of an office chair and its width was just a little less than the distance between the legs.+Homing system works very smooth. We have the charger on hardwood so zero issues in finding the charger and connecting when needed.+The apps works well. Haven't used the voice control but apps connectivity works good. Makes operating it a breeze. The programmability of having a schedule is super helpful.Overall very effective and way cheaper than the big name brands. Highly recommended.

It finds dust even if the floor appears to be clean. Easy to use and kids clean the house while playing with it as a remote control robot. Unfortunately price has more than doubled in just 10 days of my purchase of 1st unit for my parents.

The Pros: Price, Efficacy, Ease of use, Packaging/Contents (extra brushes and filter)/Washable filter/hard floors and carpet/Set Up SimpleCons: Takes a while to do the job (though this is minimal as who cares when all you do is push a button or program the unit-just don't expect this to be a 10 min job-allow the time)I have only run this unit 2 days. Once (day 1) downstairs which is mainly hard surface. It was learning and did a decent job. There were still a few small pieces of debris but hey, when I get done with the real manual vacuum I leave a few myself. It is not intended to do a deep clean so don't kid yourself someday you will have to do that. It does maintain-which I believe is the purpose. To help in the daily life process and that being said it did an astonishing job dodging chair legs and dogs to get this done.Day 2 involved upstairs-which is mostly carpet. I was amazed it did a better job than I anticipated. I have short very thick carpet yet is still left tracks. Once again this is not a deep clean though I felt it was very adequate for a daily sweep and made me look forward to being barefoot as I prefer indoors.I am a very hard person to please in terms of a device and its abilities-so the 4 stars may be many 5's. I just honestly believe there are very few 5 stars in life. One has to weigh length of time running with suction power to get the most advantage of use and this does a pretty competent job of that. For the under 200$ cost and honestly the model R3500 is more than adequate who cares if I use my phone or the remote and I can program via the remote or call the unit home. So no need to spend more for bells and whistles of little value to me.As for the long haul use-not sure about dependability. Perhaps I will return in a year to update. This will get daily use and I may buy a second unit for the upstairs-depends on how it holds up and my satisfaction several months from now. It does seem will built - it is made in China if that matters to you. It did not to me, though post Covid now it will. I will pay more for American made starting in the near future as we all need to. We have to employ our peoples and have them for future crises to support the USA. Lesson Learned.

If you're like me you're confused and a little overwhelmed by all the options for robot vacuums. After a lot of reading I figured out some things:Price differences: why is there such a price difference, under $200 , $400, $ 800... what's the difference?! One of the major differences is that the higher end models map out your house layout, when the battery runs low they go recharge themselves, and once charged, go back to the last spot they were and continue cleaning. The 'lower end' models vacuum randomly, the don't remember where they've cleaned and where they haven't. They clean until the battery runs low at which point they go back to their docking station to charge. But that's it, they're done cleaning at this point. This particular model, the R3500 vacuums in this random way. Does it matter? It depends - for me this model works perfectly, I have a nice open space for my kitchen, living and dining rooms, that's what I need cleaned on a regular basis. If you have a large house with many different rooms you'd like the robot to clean in one go (while you're not home for example) a higher end model is a better choice. If you have more open than closed spaces, this vacuum will work great. It really doesn't matter that it cleans in a random pattern, after a certain amount of time it will have cleaned the entire floor space.A few things I really liked about this Coredy model: *I have a few areas where the vacuum can drop, including stairs. The robot knows it's a drop and won't fall down. That said the owner's manual asks you to place a barrier to prevent it from falling, I'm assuming they're trying to cover all basis. They also sell magnetic strips that stop the robot wherever the strip is placed - I haven't tried them though, I don't really want those glued to my hardwood.*Floor saddles, I have 2 the robot needs to go over, I was afraid it wouldn't be able to but it does. I'm super happy because this way it'll clean a much larger area than I anticipated.*Rugs: admittedly we only have one medium sized area rug, and two small ones, the rest is hardwood. It does a good job with them though.*Remote control: easy to use, it has a number of different functions such as spot cleaning that I really like. You can also guide your robot wherever you want it to go by using the arrows on the remote. Kind of fun if you feel like you should be doing something instead of just watching a robot clean for you. There's no app for this model but you can set it to clean at a specific time everyday, before you get home from work for example.Cleaning the robot itself: the brushes easily come off for cleaning which is great because I seem to shed even more than my dog. My hair does get tangled in the brush but Coredy comes with a nice little tool that makes it really simple to clean. The dog hair gets picked up beautifully btw, I haven't seen my floor this clean since before we adopted our beagle mix 1 year ago. The dirt tray is easy to remove , empty and put back - my 6yr old daughter can do it. It also has a filter that is also easy to remove. You will get an extra filter and extra side brushes in the box.I can't speak for durability since I haven't had the robot long.Hope the review helps! I highly recommend this model.
