About this item

  • No Light Emitted - The heat lamp bulb generates heat without emitting light. It is beneficial for nocturnal reptiles and light-sensitive animals as it provides necessary warmth without disturbing their natural behaviors or biological rhythms. This heat light bulb serves as an ideal heat source while maintaining a dim or dark environment.
  • Suitable for Many Animals - Our black reptile heat light bulbs are designed for a variety of reptiles and amphibians, including tortoises, turtles, geckos, snakes, lizards, chameleons, bearded dragons, and poultry such as chickens, birds, chicks, and small mammals. Ideal for maintaining temperature in cold seasons and for use in poultry coops, egg incubation, and warmth.
  • 100% Heat Efficiency - The intensive Ni-Cr alloy heating wire ensures optimal heat transfer and extends the service life of the Ceramic Heat Emitter. After turning on the reptile ceramic heat bulb for 10 seconds, you can clearly feel the rapid rise in temperature, reaching the rated temperature in just 4 minutes. Its solid ceramic construction is waterproof and explosion-proof, providing safe heating without the risk of temperature-induced cracking.
  • 10,000 Hours of Lifespan - This heat lamp lasts twice as long as standard heat lamps, thanks to its ceramic shell that ensures concentrated heat on the ceramic disc's surface. It provides a long-lasting service life and is ideal for animals that need a constant 24-hour heat source, such as leopard geckos, ball pythons, and many monitors. Compatible with standard E26 lamp bases and 120 volts.
  • After sales Service - We will reply you within 24 hours.Safety Note - High surface temperature. Do not test temperature with hands. Adjust the spacing between the lamp and your pets to avoid overheating. Keep distance from flammable materials.

Doesn’t produce the heat it says. Produces less than the wattage I had in there before it which was lower

Ambient is 70F using a storage tote. With one of those Tractor Supply 10" clamp fixture. 6 inches from the bottom, bulb recessed probably 8-9 inches. Temps are about 98F around edge of the reflector. I was using a 60 watt soft light incandescent bulb that pulled 60 watts according to the killawatt meter and geting 95F. This bulb pulls 80 watts. My 1 week old chicks are just sleeping out of the shadow of the reflector. I've used some Hygger"s aquarium stuff a few years already, all still work. These come with 1 year warranty, the other ones on Amazon I've seen bad reviews and fire. Hopefully these last long.

These ceramic heat lamps are every bit as good as those sold at pet stores and more reasonably priced.

I used them for a purpose not specifically intended as I made a heat box to aid in drying of firewood. Unfortunately these bulbs don’t give off as much heat as the old style filament bulbs.

Hey y'all! I bought this brand, n Mixjoy. Both came with 2. With the Mixjoy only one worked right out of the box! Both of these work well. Unfortunately, I bought 75 watts in these, but meant to buy 100 watts. I bought 150 watts Mixjoy, which is a little to warm at night for my bearded dragon. She prefers it to be around 70, 75 degrees at night. In winter it's difficult to get her enclosure at 102 degrees at her basking spot. during the day so the added heat helps. I can't comment on the longevity of these bulbs as this is the first time I've bought them. Good luck everyone. I know how difficult it can be to find good heat bulbs for r amazing reptiles.

Living in AZ, the evenings in the winter are great, we can open the windows and enjoy the cold air, but that makes it too cold for my beardies. These are lifesavers. I have them over their sleeping hides at night to keep them from getting too cold. They do the job perfectly. I like them enough that I got a set for my rat cage and glider cage.
