Installation Instructions:
Step 1: Disconnect the battery, starting with the negative cable.
Step 2: Choose an appropriate mounting location for the switch.
Step 3: Connect the positive and negative cables (DO NOT ATTACH THEM SIMULTANEOUSLY to turn off the switch), then mount the switch.
Step 4: Reconnect the battery and test the switch to ensure proper operation.

Good design and easy to install, seems to be good quality. Put it in my older S10 V8 conversion and so far I'm very happy with it. Functions well and no issues so far, will update if that changes.

This is a very nice heavy duty switch! Added a second battery to my polaris ranger crew for all my extra electronics and put this switch between the 2 batteries in case my main battery dies.

I haven't had time to install this yet, but it appears to be identical to the module disconnect switches in the ambulances at work. I plan to use this as a battery disconnect for my small Yanmar diesel tractor because it has a slow battery drain that I have yet to identify. The switch engages as disengages securely and it is quite hefty.

I got this battery disconnect switch and it’s been super nicefor cuting off my electrical system on the boat. It works with 12 volt setups and handles up to 200 amps continuous or 1000 amps intermittent so it’s perfect for my boat. The aluminum alloy construction feels really solid and it’s held up against vibration and even water exposure. The installation was quick and easy since it’s got pre-drilled holes and the universal compatibility made it pretty straightforward. I like how it completely isolates the battery when I need to store it which helps prevent parasitick drains and keeps everything safe. The clear on and off markings are useful and the click when you turn it gives you confidence that it’s working right. I’d recommend it for anyone needing a easy way to make sure they are turning off their batteries.
