I was looking for brass fittings instead of plastic for a 2 zone timer for my gardens. This one meets the requirement.I initially purchased a different timer and it did not hold the time so I sent it back...This one was easy to set up and worked right away! Good buy.

We have been using the timer for a month now and it works well. Easy to operate and dependable

Works for our two-zone irrigation system. Like that the outlet and inlet are brass and haven't leaked. Two time periods are set for each zone. so far, so good. Fairly easy to program with the dial feature.

Dual zone sprinkler is great. We have a large area to water and limited water sources. Having the option to run hoses for different areas at same or different times is awesome. I also like that the sprinkler has brass connections.

It's really nice looking timer but misses a key feature. You can only set it for once per day - that's the lowest interval you can set this up. This makes no sense! New sod or grass seeds requires two or three times watering per day at least!

First off, I found out this sprinkler timer can only be used with both nozzles, there is no way to use just one of the outputs if you need just one. We water our garden daily and wanted something also for when we start watering the grass, but since that doesn't need done yet we still as of yet cannot use this. If we did, then the 2nd zone would just start spewing water out of it to waste. That said, this is super easy to use. Just add batteries and the dial itself is super self explanatory. Twist it to each section to set the current date and time, how many days you want to water (in 1 day increments, so if you put 2 it does every 2 days), how long you want it to be on, and so forth. Pressing the dial begins each setting change, so twist to what you want set, press the button, then turn it to set your desired setting. It is built very well, hard plastic with brass and metal fittings. Functions perfectly. The display size is large, but it is not back-lit meaning in bright light or no light you will definitely have a hard time seeing it. I set it up for zone 1 to water at 05:30 am every day for 30 minutes, then zone 2 for 1 minute every 7 days. (I'll have to go out every 6 days and change zone 2 so it doesn't waste water). It functions perfect. Not water leaks out of it, especially due to the included washers (one for each nozzle). So if you have 2 zones you need watering, this is perfect for it. Both sides work and work well. I can't talk how long the batteries last, as it just uses 2 AA batteries. Hopefully it lasts a while and doesn't need replaced often, those are pricey. But for the price of this timer, it could be worth it if you need to change them a couple times a summer.

This time was a breeze to install and is working well so far. In our application, we attached it to a drip irrigation line that waters the plants on the patio. Works great!

I've been using two separate timers for an area, with two separate menus. I got this to take the place of both, and it happily has one of the easiest menu operations I've found an this type of valve, and the display is big enough to actually be readable. I had it set up and operating in just a few minutes. So far seems very well made, much heavier than any other I've purchased, the valve opens and closes quickly and quietly, and it has real brass fittings instead of plastic. Comes with a bit of that white tape if you need it. Note: it won't operate on rechargeable batteries, they are pretty clear about that on the unit with a label.
