I needed a threshold for an exterior door on our old house. All I could find locally either had no seal or were aluminum. This had a seal and was made from oak. All I had to do was cut it to fit and finish it. It was easy to install and fits perfectly.

My door had a larger than normal gap and this threshold worked perfectly since it is adjustable to work with small or large gaps.

I have had these for over 20 years. They are very functional and attractive. Only one has deteriorated over time. My flooring contractor was able to repair it and replace the vinyl weatherstripping; so far so good. I prefer these to metal; although metal is suppose to be more durable.
