Les structures sont bien définies et lesmatériaux utilisés à la réalisation de ce squelette sont lourds et de qualités. Il est très facile d’assemblage et de grandeur parfaite/réaliste pour l’étude de l’anatomie du squelette.

A fantastic skeleton with high-quality casting, particularly for the skull.

I got nuthin here folks ....Bought this as a gift for a student studying x-ray technology. I honestly believe it was over kill. (Is that a bad pun of some type?) Anyway, I think that the request to purchase it was due to an over zealous teacher because I can barely recall the student touching it 3x's. Once to put it together. Once to carry it up to the office. (Now it stares at me all day) And maybe once comparing the ulna to a picture of one in her text book. I think the quality is excellent. It's sturdy. Was easy to put together. I even dressed her up a few times for laughs. It's not flimsy ..... but more of an expense than needed. There are several out there which would do just fine for much less $$. If this is what's required though, then it's a great buy.

2 April 2014 update: See update in a reader's comment about the design of the stand being changed recently, for the better.I have been collecting skeleton sets all my life. I started when they were real bones, until the Indian Government stopped exports of this traditional source of real material. I have no qualms about the skeleton itself. If I wanted accuracy, I have the real bones to show. As an indicative help to patients, this skeleton is more of a liability in the clinic office. The stand is really flimsy. It wobbles. Any curious child accompanying the patient can easily knock it over, and the entire set would come crashing down. That is what curious children do. You try to grin and bear the potential damage done (more than the price of the consultation), while the parents of the child mutter apologies. This stand should be sold separately, and in various grades. We get our halogen light stands re-engineered to child-proof standard. This thing has toppled over enough for me to wedge it between pieces of furniture. For those of us who mean business, we will get a solidly engineered stand, custom made. Come on, all you guys with IQ to make it to med school. You did not really expect the flimsy stand to be functional - would you not expect this skeleton to crash every now and then? How friendly is your clinic when you put "Do not Touch" on the set of plastic bones. The extension piece from the pelvis is so short, the coccyx is virtually touching the stand, and will in fact impact it in due course, thanks to gravity. The metal rods are made of cheap metal, and these square rods are supposed to be gripped by screws in round cylinders. 1 out of 10 for design. These sellers are skeleton makers. They hardly know anything about how children are going to react to it. Clue: it is an exotic toy. After the Lunar New Year, I will be looking for some local engineering shops to get a proper stand to do a proper job. Then, there is this issue of legal liability if this skeleton comes down on the kid's baby sister, and so forth. Be prepared to settle from your own pocket, as malpractice insurance would not cover this. The stand supporting your anatomy professor's skeleton was a lot more solid. Have no delusions about this one.

This is a pretty good affordable basic skeleton, useful for learning/teaching basic structure, but not joint movement. The bones seem pretty accurately modeled to me, with no mold lines or obvious flaws. The joints are done with metal hinges or springs, and generally do not accurately reflect real physiological movement, but it's enough for basic demonstration. The spine is not flexible at all as it has a curved aluminum rod holding all the vertebrae in line. The shoulderblades are also not mobileOne major flaw: The PVC material is very, very heat sensitive. If you cart your skeleton somewhere, don't dare leave it in your car in the sun. Don't leave it in a hot room or especially near any kind of heater, either. The forearm bones in particular are prone to bending with any amount of heat. I've seen some other skeletons made of firmer material, and it's actually on the brittle side, so this appears to be a tradeoff: resistance to breaking, at the risk of melting.Even so, it's a pretty good deal for the price.

I an x-ray tech student and this guy will be a major help with all of my positioning practice and anatomical terms. It is extremely detailed and accurate for the price.. There are specific landmarks such as tuberosities, foramen, tubercles, condyles, crests, styloids and more. The anatomy is not labeled, but you can make your own guide easily and number the skeleton with a permanent marker. It is life size and sturdy.. And he fits right in with my CPR manikin family! Overall very impressed.

The skeleton arrived in a reasonable period of time, was easy to assembly and is fairly accurate. I am pleased with my purchase.

I purchased this model a year ago. Since then it has survived light handling, plus assembly 3 times and disassembly twice. It arrived well packaged, but one of the joint pins was missing. After contacting the manufacturer by email, I received a replacement without much fuss, though it took two tries as the first apparently went missing in action. If there is any one thing I wish was improved on this product, it is the base. It is entirely plastic, giving the setup a relatively high center of gravity. I found this to be something to be mindful of when handling the unit, though it has yet to fall over. If this unit were not gathering dust in a corner most of the time, I would likely have repurposed a sturdier stand from somewhere else.

The product arrived promptly and exactly as described. I am a first year physical therapy student. This skeleton is perfect for my studies. It's pretty accurate, although it's not 100% detailed (ex. the sacral hiatus is not shown). It's sturdy and movable at the joints, and you can disassemble or reassemble the different body parts as you go along. All in all, this product is great for the price. I'm extremely happy with it.
