If you work on rigs often, you already know pulling auto electrical connectors without breaking the tabs can be a pain. I am a shade tree guy but do pretty much all my own maintenance and repairs. Wrenching is also pretty much my hobby since I have a built Jeep and we wheel it ;).I kept seeing these come up in my recommendations so decided to give them a try. I am pretty impressed. My initial impression is they take a little getting used to and they don't fit everywhere you need them to. I was changing plugs and checking out a small coolant leak the other day and ran into a connector that was in the way. It was fairly accessible but a little hard to get hands on it so it didn't want to unseat. I took a few minutes and figured these out. Not all that complicated and ended up working like a charm. The build quality is good but the grip material got pretty slick with coolant on my nitril gloves. Slipped out of my hand a couple times while trying to position them right. Don't knock them down for that, coolant makes almost everything slick with gloves and I could have cleaned up my hands. Not an everyday use type tool for me but these earned a spot in my toolbox. Good value for a low cost tool that works better than I expected. I recommend getting these and giving them a try. Came in handy when I needed them and probably saved me at least one broken connector tab if I wouldnt have had them.

This 3-piece electrical disconnect pliers set is a useful addition to any automotive toolkit, especially for working on sensors, fuel injectors, and ignition coils in tight engine spaces. The kit includes two pliers, one straight and one with a 60-degree angle, and a compact clip prying tool. The angled design and narrow tips make it easier to reach and release locking connectors without damaging the surrounding wires or components. The tools are made of steel and the grips are comfortable to hold and don’t slip easily during use. The pry bar tool is nice for delicate separation of connectors, and its grooved grip makes it easier to control.Overall, this disconnect pliers set is a solid option for DIYers and professionals needing to regularly access or remove electrical connectors in confined areas. It’s well-made, functionally designed, and reasonably priced for the value it offers.

The design is intuitive and easy to use even if you are not a professional mechanic. Whether you are repairing a car or dealing with any electrical connectors, these pliers are a must-have tool.

These are an OK pair of pliers for removing electrical connections on a vehicle. They were shipped wrapped in bubble wrap that offered a bit of protection. They also had a thin coat of oil to hopefully protect against rust, but it didn't work out great. The pliers are not smooth to operate and are difficult to open and close. This may loosen up in time, not sure. They also had a really rough finish on them. Lastly, I'm not sure if it's rust but to me it looks like there's some pitting and rusting going on with the metal. The handles are not great, they feel like a really rough rubber handle. I would rank these a step below a famous nation-wide cheap tool store that has outlets across the country. They will get the job done but I would beware of the above flaws.

Compared to other very cheap disconnecting pliers I've seen, these would be considered quality tools given their padded handles, thicker metal, and solid build. They do make it much easy to disengage the locking mechanism then uncouple some specific connectors. However they didn't work on few others.Still these are good set to have.

Auto electrical plug remover works way better than my gloved fingers. The angled pliers and curved teeth works well to grab the electrical plug and grip it. The top clip depressing works well too. I been using the angled pliers more than the straight one because it's more useful at the angles.

These are unique tools of great value to automotive and home electrical work. The make the process of removing or installing electrical connectors both easier and more efficatious. However, the set that I received was missing a spring in one of the tools, and the two springs that are part of the pliars set are critical to use. I doubt I can still use the pliars, but the lack of a spring assisted opening makes things much more difficult. These springs pop out too easily and I removed on star from the rating to reflect the design flaw. Other than that, having these in my tool set is a real plus as I do a lot of electrical work, and these are definitely going to make some of the tasks much easier.
