I'm using these to mark/scribe knife blanks.So far, so good.The spring punch works good for marking my drill holes and keeping the bit from wondering.Spring hits hard enough to mark the steel.The handle is comfortable and easy to move into smaller areas.Great product for the price and should last me years.

I rarely use punches but need something for the limited fab work I do and especially for trying to drill straight into broken bolts, etc. These are basic but do the trick. No failures from the 4 I've got and they all seem to work similarly. With my limited use they'll likely last for many years to come.

I didn't buy these for metal or woodworking. In the event you need emergency exit from a vehicle, just press this on the glass and it'll shatter. I gave one to every driver in the family to keep in the driver door pocket where they can access it if needed.Months ago, my son-in-law witnessed an accident where 2 people were trapped in a car that was smoking and later burst into flames. he ran to the vehicle and took a couple minutes to break the glass with his fists. If he had this spring loaded punch, it would have saved time and bruised hands. They got out safely.BUY THEM FOR YOUR LOVED ONES!
