This tape arrived quickly and without damage.The item description is accurate and the quality seems good. Like most tapes of this ilk it’s a bit hard to get started, peeling the loose end away from the roll takes a little time. Adhesion is good, it’s thick enough to do the job. Not sure why the description says “antiseptic”, don’t think I’d rely on it for that!Would I buy this again, Yes.I use Amazon reviews every time when considering a product purchase. Here is my rating scale:5 Stars: Excellent product, no hesitation recommending or using.4 Stars: Good product with some limitations, could be improved.3 Stars: Fair product, can be made to work if your put your mind to it.2 Stars: Not very functional.1 Star: Don’t bother, it might even be painful.

This is some heavy duty tape. The adhesive is super-sticky. This will protect my beams for a long time

This tape seems to work just fine, but it is very gummy. The actual roll isn't very supportive, runner bands and a zip-lock style bag would be great to store this in between uses.The tape is thick and sticky!

This is a big heavy roll of weather-resistant tape that is supposed to be used on decking. I use this type of tape for different scenarios where some weather sealing is needed. The tape is very sticky and feels thick with some pliability and slight stretch; this tape could not be torn and had to be cut to use. The backing on the tape is not easy to get started to get off. I had planned to use this around a column outside where water finds a way around metal under-roofing. So, I thought I'd test this over a small diameter plastic tubing hose that had a leak; however, after wrapping around many times, the water found a way out which was very disappointing. So, this tape did not give a seal over a tiny crack on plastic; maybe it would perform well on wood decking.

This stuff is awesome. Whenever there is a small leak on the metal roof of the warehouse I tend to, I use a square patch of this instead of silicone or tar. Works great and is very durable.

I own a handyman service and do a fair amount of carpentry, including deck repairs. Joist tape is a really simple, but significant, innovation to prolong the life of deck joists. It's just butyl rubber tape with an adhesive one one side, so not exactly high tech or difficult to manufacture. I've used several brands of joist tape available at my local big box home improvement stores and several brands available at significant savings on Amazon. Despite the significant variation in pricing I see little variation in the quality or usefulness of the various brands. This Molyly branded tape is thick enough to not tear during install, sticky enough to stay put and comes at a very attractive price. I think the main story here in the 3" width, which is optimized for uses like on deck outer bands and is not all that common in the market.Good stuff at a good price, but nothing hugely different or innovative about it to warrant 5 stars. So, a well deserved 4 stars for a solid product that I'll happily buy again.

Used this tape to seal the seams of an under-deck drainage membrane system by a large composite decking company. This product performs just as well for a fraction of he price of the tape offered by the decking company.
