The kit I had originally purchased for modifying a gas can had one of these literally snap off when trying to open the top tab to let it breathe. I had to makeshift something for a while until I discovered these replacements on Amazon. So far, so good.

These caps will let me install vents on my 5 gallon gasoline and diesel fuel jugs that I use a lot around here on my farm. Filling larger tractors won't be as slow, now that these will allow the jugs to empty without bubbling with the new style spouts and un-vented bodies. All I need to do is drill a hole through the top of the jug and pop in a vent cap. Great!
