For a 6 inch blade, this thing is sharp. Seriously sharp. Cuts incredibly well. Makes quick work cutting the wood. The saw blade is rather rigid due to its thickness. I would prefer the blade to be a little bit more flexible.

This is a wonderfully regular hand saw. At a good price, it looks identical to the other one I paid mroe for, except this one has a logo. Handles exactly as expected and feels comfortable enough to hold. Overall, no complaints.

This saw feels well balanced in the hand making it easy to use for flush cuts. I appreciate the blade being labeled to mark which side is for hardwood and which is for softwood. This saw is a great value.

This little thing is wonderful. It punches way above its weight class. It's light and easy to use, and it eats through wood like a hot knife through butter. The tiny size makes it the perfect thing for thinning out some of the older neglected plants in my yard that are at a level that requires a saw, but need way more precision than a mini-chainsaw can offer.

This 6-inch Japanese pull saw might look like it belongs in a sushi chef's knife roll, but don’t let its dainty size fool you—it’s sharper than your uncle’s political opinions at Thanksgiving. Straight out of the box, it’s ready to carve through wood with the precision of a bonsai master fueled by espresso. The dual TPI setup (17 for the dainty stuff, 11 for the brutes) makes it a multitasking marvel that slices cleanly whether you're trimming dowels or giving your Ikea shelf that “handmade” look. The wooden handle is... fine. Not ergonomic poetry, but it won't leave you with blisters unless you're sawing your way through a redwood. It does beg for a little oil, though—think of it like giving your new pet fish a proper bowl instead of a Solo cup.Cutting action is smooth, thanks to the pull-saw design that rewards patience over brute force. But be warned: the blade is so thin and sharp, one distracted twitch and you’re doing impromptu finger filleting. A sheath would be thoughtful, but instead it comes with plastic guards that you’ll immediately lose in your garage. If you do any detail woodwork, or just want to pretend you do, this saw earns its spot in your toolbox. Just maybe don’t keep it in the same drawer as your snacks.

I ordered this as a replacement for my existing saw. I like the labeling of the softwood and hardwood sides of the saw, nice feature. The handle is comfortable and the saw is flexible for flush cuts, but still sturdy. The plastic blade protectors are nice but difficult to get back on the saw blade.I experimented with dowels and was pleased with how quickly the saw mowed through them. I also trimmed an outlet space for a cabinet. This was 3/4" Pine and the saw handled it nicely. On both the dowels and the cabinet trim, I did need to follow up with minimal sanding. The pull action makes this saw easy to use. Be cautious on the first couple of pulls though. It's easy to get out of alignment. The quality and performance of this saw are pluses. It's so sharp that I will need to determine a way to store the product that prevents me from cutting my fingers. A sheaf of some kind would be a great addition to this product. It will definitely save time sanding. Can't wait to use this with pocket hole plugs. It will make that process easier.
