Our furnace likes to go through a flame sensor every season and I used these as the replacement this year. Worked like a charm with no issues.

This item helped with helping with furnace startup and shutting down after running a short time. Worth changing to solve no startup.

First one arrived dead, second came promptly and worked. Right in time for a brutal winder.

I have a Lennox 14ACX AC series and a Lennox ML180UH furnace and this flame sensor fit perfectly. All I had to do was remove one hex screw and pull the old one out, then slip the new one in, line up the screw and the hole on top and screw it back in.My furnace started right up, unlike before when the burners would light and then cycle right off because the flame sensor wasn't detecting a flame, despite flames being there.I am not am HVAC tech, and while I am fairly handy and do lot of my own repairs, this task I would rate for beginners. Just make sure you cut power to the furnace at the breaker box or the switch at the furnace. My HVAC company wanted to charge me over $300 to replace this sensor, instead it cost me about $5 (the price is for a 2 pack) and about 10 minutes of work, and most of that time is dealing with removing all the front panels, the swag took 2 minutes.

Wow, this is the 5th furnace repare I did myself that saved my $300 to $500 in the last few years.it really pays to do your own research on youtube and just buy the snap-in replacement parts on amazon.By the way, this time I called the furnace company for the "free" checkup and they told me the flame sensor is starting to go. I aske them how much does it cost to replace, and they said "$500". So I walked away and quickly googled it and found out its a cheap part and is basically as difficult as replacing a flashlight batter, so I told the guys to hit the bricks and did it myself. Now only if I had not let them talk me into replacing my entire furnace, that one day, many years ago when I probably just needed a new capacitor, or pressure switch, or flame sensor.... All super cheap parts and simple DIY repairs that the uninformed are buying entirely new furnaces for.
