Two of the three screws on the first installation sheared right off at the head. I had to use vice grips to twist the screws out of the wood frame. Use your own screws!The metal used for the main body feels light and thin. But it is only holding a camera so no concerns.The pivot mechanism worked fine to adjust the camera angle to my preference; it is definitely more adjustable than the Ring mount. Hand-tightening the mechanism was good enough to secure the camera firmly.
