I bought this intake like a few days ago, and shipping was so quick which is perfect. After installing the intake(which took like 30 mins) it sounds really good! I can honestly feel more power, a stronger push! A nice growl under hood when driving aggressively. I picked this intake over Injen just because the quality of this intake looks a lot better. I highly recommend this to anyone who is in search of a good, loud, responsive intake!

I bought this a week after owning my 12 tC and I have to say, I absolutely love this intake. Sound is subtle but around 3K rpms it starts hissing. When you get on it the car responds fantastically and the car definitely seems to love it. Never threw a CEL light.

Great cold air intake kit, love the sound and look, and the extra goodies it came with!!There is something very important I would consider adding to description; "Will not fit correctly if you have the trd strut bar installed". What's happening is that the MAF sensor hits against the strut bar and there isn't enough adjustment on the intake pipe to clear it. So you'll be rubbing against the bar.I highly suggest making a note of this for future customers! Other than that, great product!

11hp and 11tq gains?...I don't know about all that. I installed this on my '11 tC and can't say that I feel anything that is noticeable. I did, however, already have a Tsudo S2 exhaust installed so that could be the reason I don't feel much of a difference. I can say that it does smooth out the power band. With this 2.5L engine, I (and many others) have noticed that it pulls hard up to around 3.5k-4k RPM and then sort of hesitates, then pulls hard to the redline. With this intake, the power band is smoothed out with the hesitation being less noticeable. As far as sound goes, it adds a decent throaty sound from under the hood at wide-open throttle. I don't know what it sounds by itself since I already had the Tsudo exhaust on, but from what I have heard from others, it compliments the stock exhaust very well. There is also a pretty neat sounding sucking/whistling noise that the intake makes around 3k RPM under moderate load. For those concerned with this CAI and any potential water getting into the engine, don't worry. I have driven in heavy rain (including hurricane Irene in 2011), with no hints of issues. The install wasn't bad. I installed the top end first and then ran the entire bottom end with filter through bottom of the bumper with the liner bent back. Why I chose this intake over other brands:- I have a friend with a BMW who has an aFe intake, and he swears by the company- The Descendant intake that is available has a great price, but you get what you pay for. Heard of many folks that have had quality issues with that brand.- The Injen intake manipulates the way air flows past the MAF, causing a lean situation. I don't know much about this, but I would just rather the intake not mess around with that.- The TRD intake is just way too expensive for what you get (same style as OEM, just a slightly larger air box and snorkel).- Amazon had a great price on this with the free shipping! All in all, it's a solid intake. Obviously, anyone would be a fool to expect an intake to have a major impact on performance. But I like this intake's look, sound, and build quality.
