I have the very thick house wire connection for my heated floor and the wires are hard to wrap around a screw. After using this one with the push in the heater works again. Had replaced the GFCI twice, the thermostat and the breaker before trying this one. Very happy it is working.

EZ install. Seems to be of good quality. No issues so far.

This replaced a GFCI outlet. The original planned sink was going to be smaller. The outlet would have been too close to the sink and unnecessary as an outlet so I replaced it with this.

I bought a couple of these because they were less expensive then another brand. My house is wired in EMT/conduit. Most of my boxes are 4 square boxes with 1 or 2 gang plaster rings on them. The ground screw on this GFCI is on the bottom instead of one the side. Once you terminate a #12 to the ground screw it can be a little tricky fitting it through the plaster ring. Not dealbreaker, but it’s certainly not as easy to install as some other brands.

This item works well, an important thing to know is when the power is turned back on after install the reset button must be pressed in fully to activate the GFCI.As an electrician I would prefer to have a more secure method than wire holes for attaching since that can cause a lot of force causing sharp bends against the box wall and body of the unit making the wire more prone to breaking. Not to mention it's harder to be confident that the wires are indeed tight without giving a tug. I'd prefer a better screw mounting design where the plate behind the screw can tension on the wires.I'd still recommend this unit, it works as expected and has a clear audible snap when turned off or activated. It is stylish, simple and works with any standard decora face plate. Used for installing a bathroom vent fan over the shower. Power ran between this unit and another switch for always on power ran out to one vent fan. This can protect up 2 separately wired units being directly wired in or a chain of many units not exceeding 15 Amps in total current draw.

I use this type of GFIC on the utility pole for power to my boat dock. It is a requirement by the Army Corps of Engineers to have a GFIC at this location regardless of what proceeds it in the wiring from the house. . I already have two power receptacles on this pole and do not need two more. You can find the type with the receptacles at any home building supply store but none of my local dealers carry this type without receptacles any longer.

I was replacing a blank face GFI switch for a whirlpool tub that has its own circuit, so I did not want to add a GFI outlet. It was a simple install, however I would have preferred a brown colored switch to match the rest of the electrical outlets but I could not find them anywhere. I don’t know why we have fewer colors for the blank face GFI’Overall I like how it looks, it has aniseed feel to it.
