We have a chicken coop the local squirrels love to pilfer food from, so in deference to my daughter, who would rather not have me pop them with a BB gun, I got this air horn to scare them off. It does the trick and is quite entertaining to see them freak out and fly away after hearing it. It tends to make only short bursts of noise (if you want it loud) but if you want any sort of sustain, you have to push the plunger slowly and then it doesn't make as loud a sound. I wish it had some way to perhaps change the pitch or have the noise sustain for a longer time, but for the general purpose of being an obnoxious horn, it fits the bill. For our purpose it's great and I love that it can be used again and again for other things, too, like sporting events and camping safety (getting lost or wild animals).

Super load and last forever! No more honk honk and hon… dead. Get ready to scare the kids, neighbors, wife , wildlife possibly getting something thrown at you! 😆

The loudness of this horn is dependent on how hard you compress the handle. It is rather loud for not having compressed air to power it. I suggest to use it away from anyone’s ear. It is not constant like an air horn but you do have unlimited use of it plus comes apart for easy storage.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and photos of this product. I hope it has been helpful in providing you with more information.

These train horns are a blast! I got them to use for sporting events and to mess with my kiddos. They jumped so high when I first did it and could not stop laughing. Now they have so much fun just playing with them.To use them its really easy. You screw on the horn to the base and pull the lever out and then push it back in. The harder and faster that you push in lever the louder it is. It gets really loud. At a hockey game its a blast as well. I would definitely recommend this product.
