Ok so I purchased this yarn holder because I have a single skein holder and figured let's get the double one to make it easier in switching between 2 colors. (I have always been a center pull gal) and this has definitely made crocheting easier. This yarn holder will hold a (Red heart supper saver, big twist etc) easily on the one side and a smaller skein on the other side. A one pounder will not fit. The holder was very easy to assemble and is very stable. Love the design (color options) and is also easy to travel with. The only difference in with this double holder and the single one is the spindle that holds the yarn in the double are a bit smaller and don't feel as durable as the single one. Still worth the cost.

I opened the box and the chemical smell is so strong it started giving me a head ache. I put it outside to airport and after a few days it looks just like the photo .

This “AIYUNDI Wooden Yarn Holder Magnetic Spinner Yarn Stand with Crochet Hook Storage and Phone Stand” was easy to assemble. The stand holds the crochet hooks in the built hook organizer. The magnetic yarn ball holder does spin and is held by the magnets attached on both ends, so far it’s holding well. I was able to put the phone on the slot made available on the wooden yarn holder. The functionality of this wooden yarn ball holder for all that it’s designed for seems to work as intended. The wood sturdiness seems ok, but could be better, therefore in my opinion it’s a bit pricey. While putting this wooden yarn holder together some area of the wood did split/crack a little but it wasn’t too bad. I plan on putting a coat of acrylic hardener on this wooden yarn holder to make the wood a lot sturdier. This wooden yarn holder is quick and easy to use when Crocheting on a project. I am using a small ball of yarn so far it’s holding. I will try with a bigger ball of yarn later on and update this review if I encounter any issues.

I've had a few different magnetic yarn spindles and this one is decent in comparison. It didn't have any instructions for assembly, but it's simple enough that they weren't really necessary. The pilot holes for the screws were a little shallow and I couldn't quite get them seated all the way, but it doesn't affect the function. Definitely use a regular screwdriver and not the little tiny one it comes with. It takes a bit of muscle to get the screws in and the tiny one just won't work. It might have been worth drilling the holes a little deeper and maybe a bit wider, but it worked ok with the regular screwdriver. The magnets are very smooth. Almost to a fault. The spindle spins so freely that it can easily spin too much. I mostly use it for my CSM, so it's more noticeable. For hand knitting, it's great. My one big complaint is the top of both of the spindles had splinters that caught on my yarn. I pulled them off as well as I could, but I'll need to take some sandpaper to them later.

Love this, super easy to put together and keeps my yarn moving as I'm knitting. Good value for the price. The slot for a cell phone is awesome since I use an app on my phone to follow my pattern and the little cup is a great spot for my darning needle when it's time to weave in ends.

This is the best I’ve owned so far! It came in a thin box, so I wondered what to expect when I opened it. Everything was flat. But it was so easy to put together & I had it done in 5 min or less. It is made of stronger wood than my last one. That one cracked down the center after using it only a short time..despite it being a double yarn holder, the size is not bad. But most of all is that it works so well I love using it!

Wood is smooth and does snag my yarn. Easy to assemble even though there are no directions in the box, there is a video on Amazon to show assembly if needed. Works great for small skeins but larger skeins rub against the wooden stand and prevent turning. My wife loves this magnetic stand since most of her work is with small skeins and so I highly recommend it.

This is a kit. It comes with a screwdriver and all necessary hardware for assembly. Everything, that is, except instructions. Assembly is pretty obvious and instructions are in the Amazon description of the item so it's not a major issue. But it would have been nice had they been included. The yarn holder is crafted from wood. It is unfinished except for a red stain and would benefit from a coat of polyurethane. The parts fit together well. The magnets seem strong enough to work but my wife hasn't used it enough to be certain.
