The mounting bolts snap off before getting to even half the torque specs. Bad batch of bolts or lack of quality control? This hitch is going to be used for a bike carrier only now, and mayne not even that. The threading wires can't be reused since they don't maintain their spring and bend to easily. Can we trust the hitch to be engineered properly???

This product did not fit my 2009 ford escape correctly. It left a 1/2in gap on the one side of the frame.

Tricky to install on a 2007 ford escape hybrid. There is a string/cable inside the wheelbed to pull and tighten the nut on one side.

Perfect hitch for my 2008 Ford Escape hybrid. Came with all the needed hardware. I watched several online videos to see the process - I would recommend if this is your first time you don't rely on just the printed instructions.

Very satisfied with this product. Very easy to install. Directions came with it. Also watched an online tutorial which helped a lot as well. Came in a timely manner and as the seller described.Definitely would recommend to others.

It was very helpful to watch the youtube video on how to install a hitch on an Escape prior to installing myself. It did not come with instructions, but I was able to install it without instructions. There is a piece of metal used to fill a gap on passenger side connector (just FYI).
