Great Seller! Product arrived early, in excellent condition, and as described! My mechanic installed in less than an hour. Will use for bike rack. Thank you!

Highly recommend. Wasn't too hard to install. Great value for money with this purchase. Took a couple hours to install, most of it was measuring and marking the correct spots to drill
rather fix than buy new

It took roughly 8 total hours to install. I wasn't able to use any ramps etc to jack my 2002 325i sedan up to get more room for all that equipment was 100 miles away at my cabin - but I still was able to complete the job. I took it slow and easy, not wanting to make any mistakes. Measure thrice, drill once. And I definitely used sealant on every drilled hole to ensure no water etc gets into the spare wheel well.It was not a perfect fit though with one respect. The two straps used to anchor the back 4 bolts were roughly a 1/2 to 3/4 an inch too long at one end. I used a grinder and hand saw to take a bit off the end, round off the cuts etc. Then because of the curvature of the well, I used 3 stainless steel washers under each strap at the cut end to raise the straps away from the curve of the well. Otherwise, everything else fit perfect.I will update this review once I begin towing something with it. I will be launching a roughly 1500 lb flat bottom fishing boat/trailer with it (yikes) but only have to tow it about 4 miles round trip - a temporary arrangement because my SUV died on me and I haven't found a replacement yet. Once I find a true towing vehicle, this hitch will be used for a bike rack as well as a small metal basket for light hauling outside the vehicle. In the future I may rig up a couple backing plates underneath the well to reinforce the hitch.

Advertised with pin and clip included but didn’t receive those two items. Price dropped by $90.00 three days after I purchased it, but disappointed that Amazon would not give me a rebate even though Amazon was the seller. The hitch itself is great!

The Curt Hitch has proven to be very sturdy. I've used it to tote my bike about 4-5 times a week for the past several months, and I've had no issues with it. I also had no trouble installing it myself, though I'm not one to work on my car much.

Seems to be well built and sturdy. It did take longer to install than the suggested 45 minutes but otherwise installation went well.

I needed a hitch on my BMW E46 sedan to hold a heavy-duty bike rack. Drilled the 8 holes into the spare tire compartment and it holds everything and doesn't budge. I don't think I would tow anything with it since it is not attached to the frame though.
