I have bought 2 of these for different aquariums and they both work good. They are very easy to set the time and the amount of food to be dispersed, only problem is, it seems with flake food, or "crisps", the unit does not always deliver food very good when the door is not open wide enough and then that becomes a problem with too much food coming out. it's really just a trial and error to make sure the right amount comes out. The units themselves are very sturdy and can be attached very well to the side of your tank.

This was very simple to set and get working how I needed it. It was easy to adjust how much came out as well! I did not notice any major issues, but sometimes it dispenses a little more or less than I set. It's a great product to have as it makes caring for your pet easier. Especially when you are traveling!

This was easy enough to setup, but there are issues.I chose this because it would be nice to have a feeder when on vacation. I have used vacation feeders, but my fish just eat until they are gone.It does not work well with flakes. They get stuck, and then no food is dispensed. The flakes need to be ground up a bit before they will work.I have placed this on my lid over the hole where the feeding door would be. I removed that door. Even though the opening is decent in size, the food sometimes gets dispensed onto the lid. I am using the sticky tape to place it. This makes it very difficult to adjust the feeder's placement.My aquarium has an air stone, so there are bubbles that are popping on the surface. This does cause some splashing that gets on the feeder. This does interfere with the automatic feeding because the door will become stuck if the food gets wet.I will probably try to make a slider to open and close a door below the feeder to help mitigate the issues.Pros: schedule feedingsCons: moisture related issues that can cause feeding not to occur, cannot be easily moved if not mounted on the tank edge.
