That it has a helper handle is invaluable, great design. Wrist saver. Comfortable. Lightweight. Good size. Glass lid is great. That it is SS is great too.

I love this pan. It's the perfect size for smaller meals, yet by having deeper sides it can also handle larger meals. The deep sides also mean less splatter. Being stainless steel there is no concern about a non-stick finish wearing out or not being able to use a cooking spray as with some pans. Even my eggs did not stick. I also enjoy the helper handle since I'm older and not quite as strong as I used to be. Also the price was a major factor in my consideration for purchasing this pan, and I feel this is a fair price for a quality product. I like the double rivets on the handle attachment. Thank you for making this available.

This is my introduction to stainless pans. Trying to get Away from some of the non stick ones that inevitably get scratched up and awful. I was told stainless is hard bc they tend to stick and be hard to clean but I haven’t had that issue! I’ve mostly used for bacon or “helper” type pasta meals and it’s been super easy to clean. If needed you can reheat bottom of pan with a smidge of water to help loosen the stuck on food but I’ve only had to do that one time and I still don’t think it was necessary. Bar keepers friend will help it be super shiny if needed but ive used regular soap and a gentle scrub brush and had no issues.Cook on medium heat and it’s wonderful!*my only complaint is sometimes if the lid is on it makes a popping sound out of nowhere and scares me to death but it seems to be completely strong and I have no idea why it makes that sound occasionally

... beautiful pan. I bought it to replace my deep fryer and have already made French fries in it. It worked beautifully - heated evenly ... the VENTED glass lid is wonderful, and it's been hard to find a deep (3") frying pan with a vented glass lid for viewing the progress of the cooking without opening the pan. Handles stay cool as promised. Overall wonderful high quality pan! Would be very suitable for frying fish, chicken, ANYthing!!

It is heavier than the cheap thin aluminum non-stick coated pots that i have been using for 30 years or more. It does actually spread the heat more evenly when using our glass top range. I am determined to use this pan for cooking from now on. I have read about the hazards of cooking with non-stick pans because that slippery coating will and has scraped off, i wonder how much of that stuff is in the food that i have cooked? THIS new pan will never do that. Im adding right now (October 20th, 2021) an addition to this review. I have been waiting to cook down some onions to see if they scorched or burned. I used the #2 setting on our larger element so the heat was low. I added about 3 tbsp of Wesson oil before hand. The pan was so full if i added more onions it would have spilled out when i stirred it. I stirred them every 10 minutes keeping the onions covered all during the cooking process. 2+ hours later they are almost brown and i probably couldn't cook them down anymore. The pan is still shiny SS all across the cooking surface. I will wash it soon and i ran it through a dishwasher cycle a few days ago and it still looks and cooks like new. I recommend this pan. If i need a different size pan in the future i will consider another size of this brand. But for sure no more non-stick. MORE on this pan, (October 26th, 2021), i used a metal potato masher to push down several cane of refried beans before adding them to a pot of Red Beans & Rice. Somehow the masher slid around under the beans and after i was all done i saw scratches. Lots of scratches in my wonderful new pan. The smasher is rounded on all surfaces so no way could you cut yourself on it. I wanted to see how it cooked after that. It did another pan full of onions just fine even with the scratches. I used a little oil and it did brown the pan a bit. Just this second i scrubbed the pan with hot water, dish washing soap and the blue Scotch Bright pad and rinsed the pan and it looks like new again accept for the scratches. BUT even the scratches became shiny clean. They are my fault but i will use the pan just like they are not there. I suppose the bottom line here is do NOT use metal cooking utensils. And if it ever gets scratch no worries, it still cooks like brand new!
