I've had good experiences with Unitek products in the past, so I didn't hesitate to grab this charger for my EV. It's a solid piece of kit, and having a reliable charger is crucial when you're topping up your car's battery.This Level 1 and 2 charger is a lifesaver as a backup. It's perfect for those times when you're visiting friends or family and need a quick charge boost. Just plug it in and you're good to go.One thing to keep in mind is the weather. The manual clearly states it's only IP54 rated, meaning it can handle dust and splashes, but not heavy rain. Basically, don't leave it out in a downpour. IP ratings tell you how well something is protected against solids and liquids, and the higher the numbers, the better the protection.Using the charger is a breeze, and it works exactly as advertised. Obviously, it's not going to charge as fast as a dedicated Tesla charger or Supercharger when plugged into a regular 15-amp outlet. But it's a fantastic solution for those situations where you're running low on range and need to get to a charging station or back home. It gives you that extra peace of mind knowing you won't get stranded.Overall, I'm really happy with this Unitek charger and think it offers great value. It's a smart investment for any EV owner. Highly recommended!

This EV charger is just as good as the name brand one that I ordered from the manufacturer of my EV. The thermals are all in line with what you would expect as are the charging rates. The only negative is that I'm not sure how durable this will be over the long term - not the highest quality housing. Probably fine if it is going to live in your garage, but may not hold up if left in the trunk and thrown around.

My original Telsa charger that came with my car was stolen out of my garage. I brought another charger to replace it and that broke. So this came at the perfect time. I did eventually get another charger from Tesla. However, I like to keep a charger in my trunk at all times in case of "emergency". I plan to use this for my everyday charging and put my replacement tesla charger back in my car for emergencies .
