The switch does it's job. Meaning on and off make or break the circuit as they are supposed to. But the terminals are plated cheaply. Time will tell if these switches hold up to starting current passing through them. Installation is easy and straight forward. These might be suited for boat batteries but I am leary of thier use for car/rv engine starting batteries11/18/2024 - The product seller contacted me and generously offered a refund. This despite the fact that I have not identified a defect of purpose. They simply wanted me to be happy. I will update this again in a few months to indicate the actual use results. GREAT JOB Customer Service!

This little battery disconnect is ideal for protecting your car battery from a electrical leak in your vehicle. I personally put it on my camping vehicle because it doesn't get used every single day, and I don't want the battery to run down.I liked it installs right on the top of the battery so I don't have to run special wires and screw it to the firewall of the vehicle.

I have used battery disconnects many times. Having to cut and crimp the thick gauge cable can be challenging. This allows you to just connect straight to the battery post, making it a quick and easy install. Switch worked as expected, I am easily able to disconnect my RV battery from the system.
