I needed a name brand high current power cutoff switch that would mount on an uneven surface in a tight area and this fit the bill.

Mein erster (billiger) Noname-Schalter ist richtig an den Kontakten abgebrannt. Die Kontakte wurden ab 60A recht heiß, bei 80-100A konnte man sie kaum berühren ohne sich dabei zu verbrennen.Ich dachte immer, es sei der Übergangswiderstand zwischen den beiden Schraubkontakten und der internen verbauten "Kupferbrücke", dem war aber offensichtlich nicht so, da sich das "Phänomen" beim neuen Victron-Schalter wiederholte.Erst nach Austausch der 50mm² Zu- und Ableitung gegen 70mm² fertig konfektionierte Kabel war das Problem behoben. Ich glaube nicht, dass der höhere Querschnitt notwendig gewesen wäre, aber ich dachte mir: wenn schon, dann was "Gscheit's" und kein Risiko eingehen u. ggf. erneut austauschen.Der Schalter und die Kontakte bleiben nur konstant lauwarm, egal ob 60 oder 80A, 100A erreiche ich eher selten bei meiner 24V-PV-Anlage. PROBLEM BEHOBEN!!!!Ach ja, noch ein wichtiges Detail zum Einbau!!!Der Schalter hat pro Schraubkontakt 2x M10-Muttern - zwischen den beiden Muttern wird ja der Kabelschuh mit der Beilagscheibe und dem Sprengring fixiert ABER man sollte die "untere" Mutter nicht an den Schalter anknallen, sondern etwas Spiel lassen, damit sich der Schraubkontakt an die intern gefederte "Kupferbrücke" etwas anpassen kann und dadurch ein satterer Kontakt gewährleistet ist.Die "obere" Mutter fixiert dann natürlich schon den Kabelschuh gegen die "unteren" Mutter - hoffe, dass ist verständlich rübergekommen...

Junk. I tried two seperate switches and both of them didn't work. Connected 0000 wire and the screws moved enough that the switch didn't work. No way to contact victron for support by phone. Worthless for me even though it looks like a really good switch...

Switch used for 48V Solar ESS Batterys Mounted them inside a metal cabinet with switch operating handle protruding through the cabinet . Easy mount, cardboard template included in package, make 2" hole in cabinet for switch collar to protrude through, drill the 4 small holes for the mounting screws.Use 4 --- 6/32 x 2" machine screws & 8 --- 6/32 nuts . switch housing for the 4 screws is internally hex molded on inside so you tighten the screws to hold switch in the cabinet, after you tighten cables on switch stud install the blank cover on back of switch & hold in place with the 4 remaining nuts. Note switch only comes with 4 wood screws, 6/32 screws are available at most hardware stores
