Bought this to use while sitting in my car. The blanket took a long time to heat and never really heated up. I set it on high and still did not heat up completely. However, the controller was so hot that it was hotter than the blanket!!! WTH!!!! I immediately unplugged it! RETURNED TO AMAZON!

used blanket for a while but have to constantly turn it back on to get warm also found that a damp towel ob top of blanket REALLY heats the towel and blanket up just FYI

I was trying to keep the poorly insulated house at 57 F. I gave up yesterday and increased the thermostat to 60 F even though my new heated throw was keeping half of me very comfortable. My arms and hands got too cold and I needed them out from under the throw to be able to do any work. I earlier bought a washable heated throw to use in the bedroom and in my recliner but I decided I wanted one in each place. I decided my second one would be 12 V so I can use it while traveling in the future. I bought a 12-volt adapter after making sure it could power this thing (no problem at all) so I can use this at home with the adapter plugged into the wall outlet or in my future minivan plugged into the cigarette lighter or a nice big power bank so I will be able to run it for hours without flatlining a battery. It is narrower than a standard throw so it uses less energy but still is wide enough for a very unpetite person. So far so good. And I have loved the savings on the utility bills compared to what they were when 99-year-old mom needed the furnace set at 75 F all the time.

I like that these blankets have a heat control, high, low and off. Well made. They heat up nicely. Our dog loves it!

This was a gift and it turned out we should have looked at higher end ones. The warmest part was the plug! Some areas of the blanket stayed cool, other parts had some warmth but nothing like you’d expect this to have. A disappointing purchase.
