This bicycle u lock comes with a portable u lock and a 120cm/4feet double looped steel cable for locking the wheels.
The diameter of the cable is 12mm/0.47inch(including PVC cover). The u lock with cable can be used individually. Cable that included allows you to lock not only the frame, but also both wheels.
Sturdy & Poratble Size
The outer size of the u lock is 8.5*5.9inch and the inner size of which is 6.3*3.5inch. The diameter of the shackle is 0.64inch and the diameter of crossbar is 1.4inch. Comes with a 4FT length steel cable and a sturdy mounting bracket, which makes the bike lock more sturdy and portable to use.
Different Usage
The PVC cover of the u lock with cable have resistance to water, dust, dirt, thus it can keep it look like a new one for years.

Sturdy and works great! The plastic thing you screw to your bike is just a holder. Lock your bike normally - not while it's in the plastic holder - for best security.

It is a little heavy but also very sturdy. I have not mounted it on the bike the frame of the bike is to thick for the mounting bracket but is just as advertised.

This feels like a solid lock. I don't really doubt that it's as strong as another lock with the same thickness. Despite that, I can't recommend it.I use it as a second U lock. Because this is a less-well-known brand, I know that someone ready to cut U locks might target this one instead of another bike. I was disappointed that the Intekin logo is printed onto the lock on an angle, clearly not correctly aligned. This wouldn't bother me too much, except that I'm worried it makes this lock seem potentially lower quality to someone ready to cut locks.If you give someone enough time and tools, they can break any bike lock. Your goal is to make your bike more inconvenient than whatever is next to it. I can't recommend this lock for that purpose.The mounting system also didn't fit for my bike. I guess the frame tube wasn't a compatible diameter - the rubber padding to put inside the plastic part was too thick, and without it the plastic part was too wide.

EDIT: 7/28/23 After using this for awhile as one other reviewer stated that there is an issue with this not locking back together..? Because gravity will slide the lock back and forth.. So if its tilted this will slide the lock. I just keep the key in, while I lock and unlock the bike.. You will have to turn the key to lock it anyway.. Still don't like the giant blue plastic cable clamp area makes it hard to pass through the bike spokes. And the cable length needs about 12 or even 6 more inches. Makes it hard to use with a bike rack and to lock your bike. But forget about using it for a scooter. Big blue Plastic will keep you from using it for that..Cable clamp (blue plastic covering) is to big around. Will not fit in tight places ie. scooter wheel hub rear ( had to fold to fit through the hub, looped back on its self.. it works but was hoping for more play in the line will work with 2 scooters but it's tight ). solid easy to use
