If you ordered these for chicken wire but got confused by the cloth terminology than worry no more because this is indeed chicken wire with a black PVC coating. A good quality too, not too, too easy to bend and is pretty stiff but flexible. The PVC coating makes it last much longer and offers the wire protection from rust and rain. The roll is very big and fairly heavy and I got this a great price compared to right now where it is currently kind of expensive due to shipping costs. So really a good value for me and this chicken wire is top quality too.

Inaccurate description. The description says it's 19 gauge wire and it's not. The wire is 21 gauge and even with the coating it still isn't the size they claim. They show it's 1.09mm and it's actually 0.91mm ( .036 inch). I didn't even use it because it's to flimsy and cheap quality. Don't waste your money if your trying to use it for a chicken coop.

This fencing is actually really great. It is very heavy duty, so you do have put some effort into getting it into place. I ordered it to put around my yard to keep my small chickens inside. It worked great! It also rains a lot where I live, so I was worried how it might hold up. So far, it has been amazing. No rust or deterioration. It looks nice too! Definitely recommend.

This 1/2" hardware cloth is just what I needed to help finish my chicken coop run. I really enjoy using black vinyl coated wire because it makes it easier to see through than silver or galvanized, plus it gives the run a great look. The plastic coating is durable and helps it weather better than non plastic coated cloth. The wire is thin enough to roll out and easy enough to staple. With 24" x 25', there is ample material to cover multiple areas of a run, and at a little more than a dollar a foot, this makes it a great option for your projects as well!

I live I an apartment with a patio that is screened in on one side. It is quite close to a dog park. My dog is very excitable when he sees a dog or person he doesn’t know or doesn’t like. He throws himself on the screening, scratching to get out. For a while I just kept him inside, but I feel bad because he likes it out there so much.I have tried several things to keep him from being able to reach the screen which is on the outside of the frame which is basically made up of two by fours. I needed something that was not permanent, easily put up and removed, and wouldn’t hurt my dog’s feet while keeping him from reaching the screen and doing damage or escaping. This works. I stapled it to the inside of the frame, keeping it about four inches from the screening. His paws can’t get over the top (he’s short), it doesn’t hurt his toes/nails, he cannot rip it, he can still see out but can’t escape. It wasn’t hard for me to put up, it shouldn’t rust and stain the cement and paint because the metal is covered, it’s not easily seen from a short distance away and, a plus, it keeps the leaves from blowing in the openings at the bottom of the frame when the yard people come with their leaf blowers and cluttering up the patio.I would recommend it to another dog owner.

My yard and garden has been invaded by a horde of pocket gophers for the last couple of years. I live next to an open strip of land that provides an infinite supply of the invasive little creatures. When we renovated our garden we built raised garden beds with this kind of 1/2" vinyl coated hardware cloth underneath to keep the gophers out, and it has worked with great success so far.Our current plan for a final solution to the gopher problem is to dig a 2-3 foot deep trench along the fence line next to the open field area and install this vinyl coated hardware wire at least two feet deep as a fairly permanent barrier for gophers. According to several sources on the Internet this is considered one of the best ways to keep these annoying little buggers from invading your yard. The significant advantage of ordering this type of hardware cloth from sellers on Amazon is that it costs significantly less than what you can buy at your local big box hardware stores - almost half the price in many cases. This is indeed a good value. This is the second roll I ordered to make sure that I have enough vinyl coated hardware cloth to seal my yard off adequately.

We used this 24" hardware cloth on a few sections of the chicken coop and run that we recently built. It is exactly as described, looks good, and was easy to install. I expect it will last a long time with the PVC coating. It is a good value for the price.

My standards are high because I build chicken tractors. This is a solid product that is flexible and tough. We run it from the bottom up to keep raccoons from grabbing legs and other bits. Truly a good value.
